Word is starting to spread on In’finiti as more folks get the chance to see the new space and attend one of the pre-opening friends and family events. According to a community forum post on BeerAdvocate.com, they’ll be opening on Monday.
The look is somewhat industrial with a touch of steampunk, a beautiful view of the brewhouse and distillery, a touch of nautical (portholes), a huge deck right on the wharf, a beautiful wood bar and tables, and the railings and lots of other touches built from Allagash barrel staves. The menu is great with a good variety of nicely done upscale pub food and entrees, local without being in-your-face-local…
Such good news.
On a very minor note, I’m wondering if they’ll have a few tv’s at the bar. I wouldn’t want novare to, but being able to catch some games at In’Finiti would be nice while drinking.
Could someone explain where this is/will be exactly? Is it on the wharf?
It’s on Commercial Street directly opposite Three Dollar Deweys.
Back deck looks great, but most of the water view is blocked. Little tap house says their internal opening countdown is on. Be interesting if they opened on same day
There are no TVs. No sign there will be. And with the layout of the space, TVs at the bar would be TVs in the sit-down section of the restaurant, which would not work.
From the outside it doesn’t look done. Just went by, you’d think they’d be doing family and friends if they’re opening in a couple days but it was empty. Hard to judge how big it is inside from the floor plan. Stone coast didnt have great beer, but it left a void when it closed. This place is much needed intown. Hope it lives up to our expectations which are sky high
Friends and family nights were last week. The place complete except the distillery portion (in a separate room up front) which is installed but not running yet. As of Thursday they were planning to take the weekend off to finish hooking up the draft lines and probably other little details, and to avoid opening during the St Pattys madness, then open on Monday.
I need to see a sign on the building to believe!!
Going Tuesday whether they’re open or not
