Thursday – an Allagash dinner is taking place at Terlingua, Gather is collaborating with the Royal River Community Theatre on a Dracula Dinner, and the Brew Pub Cup is taking place at The Great Lost Bear.
Friday – the Good Food Awards are taking place, 3 Maine vendors are nominees, and there will be a wine tasting at the West End Rosemont.
Saturday – Woodford F&B will be celebrating their 2nd anniversary and raising money for the Locker Project, and the Winter Farmers’ Market is taking place.
Sunday – Foley’s is kicking off their baking class series.

Tuesday – it’s the first day of the 77th Annual Maine Agricultural Trades Show in Augusta.
Thursday – the 10th annual Maine Farmers’ Market Convention is taking place in Augusta and the Industrial Park Challenge at The Great Lost Bear, and Mika Higurashi will be giving a talk at GMRI entitled “Making the Grade: Leading the Way for Sashimi-Grade Seafood“.
Friday – there will be a wine tasting at the East End Rosemont.
Saturday – the Winter Farmers’ Market is taking place and there will be a wine tasting at LeRoux Kitchen.

Maine Craft Distilling will begin serving brunch this Sunday, 10 – 3.

Monday – it’s Christmas.
Friday – there will be a wine tasting at the West End Rosemont.
Saturday – the Winter Farmers’ Market is taking place.

- Bolster Snow – 3-course dinner, $65 per person.
- Boone’s – 4-course dinner, $95 per person, 9 – 2am they’ll be a NYE gala for $40 per person, $125 if you combine both options. The events are a benefit for Full Plates Full Potential.
- Central Provisions – 5-course dinner with optional pairings, $150 per person.
- Chaval – serving regular menu plus specials.
- East Ender – serving regular menu.
- Evo – 4- and 7-course menus.
- Five Fifty-Five – 5-course dinner, $100 per person.
- Grace – will be open serving their regular menu.
- Hunt & Alpine – champagne cocktail and special menu.
- Little Giant – will be serving their regular menu with some NYE specials.

Certified Bourbon Steward Training
The Maine Distillers Guild is collaborating with Man & Oak to hold a Stave & Thief Society Certified Bourbon Steward training class in Portland in February. The all-day course is taking place at Tiqa and Liquid Riot.

2018 Portland Symphony Wine Dinner
The PSO ha announced the line-up for the 17th annual wine dinner. The culinary team for the 2018 dinner are:
- Paolo Laboa, Solo Italiano
- Sara Jenkins, Nina June
- Ilma Lopez, Piccolo and Chaval
- Sam Hayward, Fore Street and Scales
- Troy Mains, Harraseeket Inn
The dinner will feature wine from the Blue Danube Wine Company, and will take place March 14, 2018 at the Harraseeket Inn in Freeport.
