The Wine Bar will be the site of a Naked Shakespeare production Monday night by Acorn Productions. There will be training run for the Wine Flight 5k on Tuesday; trainees will be jogging to Public Market House. The next Piatto per Tutti cooking class is on Monday; the classses are taught by baker Stephen Lanzalotta. There will be wine tastings at OceanView in Falmouth and RSVP on Wednesday. Farmers’ Markets are taking place in Monument Square on Wednesday and at Deering Oaks Park on Saturday. Today’s paper has an article about community supported fisheries in Maine. There is a groundfish CSF in Port Clyde and a lobster CSF in Freeport; there’s the possibility of a CSF being established here in Portland. Also in today’s paper was a report that sales of Allen’s Coffee Brandy topped 1 million bottles during the state’s 2007 fiscal year.

Prost! in New Hands
Ownership of Prost! has changed hands. The bar has scaled back on the number of taps and the new owners are planning a name change.

1:00 a.m. Curfew has reviewed the bar at Pizza Villa calling it a “Cubic Zirconia in the rough”.
