Also in today’s paper was an article about a website, www.lobstercelebrations.com, which encourages people to swap their Thanksgiving turkey for lobster this year or at least incorporate it into their menu.

Portland's Sardine Industry
There’s a last minute addtion to the calendar for tonight. The South Portland Historical Society will host a program called “The Sardine Industry of Portland and South Portland in the 1900s.” They’ll be showing a documentary film and then will have an open discussion “among participants who either worked in, or lived near, the local sardine factories”. The event takes place at the South Portland City Hall tonight at 6:30.
