The Festival, the international gathering of brewers and beer enthusiasts in Portland, came to a close last night.

Odd that he complained about the Brewers not being able to interact with the customers as the brewers definitely were there and talking to anyone who had questions. (I slipped in for a while with the help of a volunteer.) I noticed most of the crowd had few questions and simply drank their samples.
I’m guessing the eight- five dollar fee might have impacted attendance. And allowing everyone to drink as much as they wanted would have really sapped the supply most brewers had!
Agreed! If anything, what I saw was the brewers I was pouring for had more time to shoot the shit with people, because they weren’t hurrying to pour beer for people waiting in a big line.
