Pockets is now open, again.
Again not to be negative, but what the hell were the financial backers of pockets thinking? Also that lobster place next to gelato fiasco is still not open . Are they seriously going to miss the summer tourist season? That should be an interesting fall/winter for them.
They are finally putting up glass on Shwartz? Building across from state theater this week . The spot where zapoteca was going to open Spanish place. Any rumors of someone else looking at it? Be a good spot for volk and sansonetti to open their new project .
In the brook, I heard dancing elephant is closing and a new Indian restaurant is going in. Again , not my money.
Lastly wanna say that if I had extra disposable income I would eat the roast beef sandwich from HOME catering 2 times a day
Dancing Elephant’s moving to Waterville. Landlord upped their rent a lot and they told him they’d be leaving; he changed his mind and offered them the same rent but it was too late as they’d bought a building for their new undertaking there.
Based on Nick’s rave I had the roast beef sandwich at Home Catering today. It was astoundingly good!
